After more than a year active, the Spanish Debt Audit Platform (PACD) met in Barcelona to celebrate their 3rd national meeting where groups from different cities, created around the Spanish state, attended to share together the work done so far. Topics such as: what do we mean when talking about illegitimate debt, strategy issues, a workshop on how to audit, territorial extension work and commissions’ dynamics were worked on.

The event started on Friday May 31st with an open public event with the following agenda:
18:00 – Public presentation of the PACD.
18:30 – International Conference: The Debt Crisis.
Organizers: Observatory of Debt in Globalisation. “The debt crisis is not a problem unique to Europe. Southern countries have struggled for decades, and continue to struggle against the dictatorship of debt. To cope with the crisis we have to learn from the South, making visible the parallelisms between the debt crisis in the South and in the North, and how they have configured alternatives and strategies of resistance, in order to work together globally. “
20:30 – Dinner by the 15M Cooking Commission from Plaça Catalunya.
22:00 – “The danger in mathematics.” Economy Comedy show by Paul Borons.
Saturday and Sunday (June 1 st & 2nd) was devoted to internal work of the Platform.
